Program Overview
Finishing a certification course is a milestone, but it is not the finish line. The gap between classroom training and confident, independent practice is where most new injectors struggle—and it is exactly the gap this mentorship is built to close.
Over four weekly shifts at NIMS MedSpa in Houston, you will work one-on-one with a seasoned aesthetic injector. Each shift runs approximately two hours, and you are not just observing. You are the one holding the syringe—assessing patients, planning treatments, and performing injections with an expert watching every move and offering correction and guidance in real time.
This is not a repeat of your training course. The mentorship is designed to layer clinical judgment on top of the foundational skills you already have. You will face the kinds of decisions that textbooks do not fully prepare you for: patients with asymmetry, patients with unrealistic expectations, patients who are nervous, and outcomes that require adjustment. Your mentor has handled all of these situations and will walk you through each one.
By the end of four shifts, the goal is simple: you should feel ready to treat patients without someone standing behind you.
What You Will Gain
Supervised Patient Treatment
You will perform injections on real patients with your mentor providing immediate, specific feedback. This is not a demonstration you watch from across the room. You are hands-on, making clinical decisions and carrying them out under expert observation.
Consultation & Treatment Planning
Great outcomes start before the syringe comes out. You will sit in on consultations, learn to evaluate what each patient actually needs versus what they are asking for, set expectations, and build treatment plans that account for anatomy, budget, and long-term goals.
Technique Refinement
Your mentor will watch your hand position, needle angle, injection speed, and product placement with a trained eye. Small corrections made in real time—over multiple patients across multiple weeks—create lasting improvements that no video tutorial can replicate.
Follow-Up & Outcome Assessment
You will also learn how to manage follow-up visits, assess how treatments have settled, and handle touch-ups or adjustments—a critical part of building patient trust and loyalty that most training programs skip entirely.
